Terms of Service
These terms describe how Tessoly works, what it is — and what it isn't. By using the service, you agree to the terms below. They're written in plain language so there's no ambiguity about scope or responsibility.
What Tessoly is
Tessoly is a documentation support tool for licensed clinicians. It analyzes visit notes and returns suggestions to help strengthen documentation, surface coding considerations, and flag potential gaps.
Tessoly is not a medical device, electronic health record, or billing system. It is a writing and review aid.
Not medical, legal, or billing advice
Tessoly does not provide medical advice, legal advice, or billing advice. Output from the service is informational and is intended to support — not replace — the clinical, legal, and administrative judgment of a licensed professional.
Clinician review required
- All suggestions, billing codes, and documentation feedback must be reviewed by a clinician before they are used, signed, or submitted.
- You are responsible for verifying that any output is accurate, appropriate, and consistent with your patient's chart.
- Tessoly does not generate signed clinical documentation on its own.
Your responsibilities
You — or the licensed provider on whose behalf the service is used — are solely responsible for final clinical and billing decisions, including diagnostic codes, procedure codes, medical necessity, and any documentation submitted to payers or stored in the patient record.
No guarantees
- We make no guarantee that using Tessoly will improve reimbursement, prevent denials, or protect against audit findings.
- The service is provided as-is and without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
- We are not liable for any clinical, financial, or administrative outcomes arising from use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable advance notice through the service or by email. Continued use of Tessoly after a change means you accept the revised terms.
